Uses of Tenofovir + Lamivudine + Efavirenz - TenolamE:

Used in the treatment of HIV Infections.

Product Introduction:

Tenolam E Tablet is a combination of Tenofovir, Lamivudine, and Efavirenz. It is an antiviral medicine used for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection (a condition that occurs when the virus attacks the immune system and interferes with your body's ability to fight infections or diseases).

Tenolam E Tablet will not cure HIV infection, but it will delay the progression of a chronic, potentially life-threatening condition known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and other HIV-related conditions. This medicine works by preventing the virus from multiplying.

Tenolam E Tablet shows some side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache, confusion, dizziness, trouble sleeping, etc. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Patients diagnosed with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this combination of medicine cautiously. During this treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. Report to your doctor if you have or had a history of heart failure (QT prolongation), seizures, mental health issues, pancreatitis (inflammation in the pancreas), bone disease (osteonecrosis - the death of bone tissue), fractures, liver (chronic hepatitis B or C), or kidney problems.

Inform your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking Tenolam E tablet, due to the potential transmission of HIV from the mother to the baby
