  • Vaqta Adult is used to prevent hepatitis A infection, a liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus. It is recommended for adults who are at increased risk of exposure, such as travelers to areas with high hepatitis A prevalence, individuals with chronic liver disease, or those with occupational exposure. The vaccine works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against the virus.
