Indications & Clinical Uses

  • Visioflox is used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and keratitis. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria that cause eye redness, swelling, and discharge. This medication is prescribed for infections where a topical antibiotic is appropriate. It does not treat viral or fungal eye infections.

Side Effects

  • Visioflox helps reduce symptoms of eye infections like redness, irritation, and watery discharge. It may cause temporary stinging or blurred vision after application. Some users notice mild discomfort or sensitivity to light. These effects are usually short-lived.

Precautions & Warnings

  • Keep the dropper tip clean and avoid touching it to the eye or any surface. Do not share your eye drops with others. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Visioflox and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Store the bottle at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Avoid Interactions

  • Visioflox is an eye medication and has limited systemic absorption, so drug interactions are rare. However, using other eye drops should be spaced at least 5 minutes apart. If you use steroid eye drops, consult a healthcare provider before combining treatments. Always inform your doctor about all medications you are using.
