  • Zarzio is used to reduce the risk of infection in people with non-myeloid cancers receiving chemotherapy that causes severe neutropenia. It may also be prescribed to help mobilize stem cells for collection before a bone marrow transplant. Patients with severe chronic neutropenia may also receive Zarzio to increase white blood cell counts. It is not used to treat infections that already exist.
