Product Introduction:
Reblozyl is a medicine used to help people with certain blood problems. These problems make them have too few red blood cells, which can cause tiredness and weakness.
One group of people who use Reblozyl has a rare blood condition called beta thalassemia. This condition makes it hard for their bodies to make enough healthy red blood cells. Reblozyl helps to make more of these healthy red blood cells.
Another group of people who use Reblozyl has a group of blood cancers called myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). In MDS, the body can't make enough good red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Because they don't have enough red blood cells, these people often need blood transfusions. Reblozyl can help make more red blood cells and reduce the need for blood transfusions.
To take Reblozyl, you get a shot under your skin every 3 weeks at your doctor's office. They mix the medicine with water before giving it to you.
So, Reblozyl is a medicine that can help people with these blood problems by making more healthy red blood cells.
